Oh~What the heck?

It's 9.03am.
And I'm blogging?
Yeah. That's the reality.
Am currently at the University "oh-so-not-cold-to-the-bones" computer lab, typing away
Life's been pretty much filled with mediocrity. Nothing exciting.
But then, last Friday, My bestie, Camilla and I went for a back-to-back movie marathon with one movie after another. Watched Stardust and Mr Magorium's Wonder Emporium.
Hrm...both sound kiddish but yeah~ it was great.

Stardust was a great interpretation of a fairy tale love story with pinches of humor here and there. In it, we've can see the comeback of Claire Danes into the silver screens after quite sometime (I think?) and also the introduction of a new star; Charlie Cox (man, I gotta admit it, he is FINE~!). Before this he did made a small debut in casanova ( no wonder he looks familiar....?)

Am not going to do a review because I'm never great at it but to my male friends yang sudah berpunya, bring ur loved one to go and watch. Guaranteed NICE~!

*this message has been approved by Lynzie D' Slump and Camilla Chee*

And because of Stardust, I went to Borders and checked out the books/comic by Neil Gaiman. Looks interesting but quite costly.

The second movie we've watched was Mr. Magorium Wonder Emporium. Hrm....my only reaction after the show was...."Uhhh, was that it?".

I was at the hype to know what was going to happen next when the screen turned black and the bottom said "sarikata disediakan oleh"......

I guess the movie could not be done as well as it could have been because the original story itself is quite long. I didn't quite enjoy this session though, because the bloody asshole sitting next to me kept shaking his legs. I wonder if he has fleas? That's why he's shaking so much.
*humph* nevermind.
okay...just been bothered by an unwanted person and got to leave now. Hrm...anyways i ran out of words already.

Disappointment.

I can't help it but to feel very disappointed with our fellow Malaysians for the past one month. First it was the Bersih rally which caused a big havoc and yesterday, barely 24 hours ago, another rally was being held by the Hindraf calling for the rights of the Indians.

I really don't understand why people are always dissatisfied with what they have and already achieved. Especially in this case, where they say they are not given the proper rights. I don't know much about the whole situation and hopefully someone can actually lecture me on it as I really don't want to see a country which I love so much come crumbling down.

From what I read from the papers, many conveyed their dissatisfaction by the way they are being treated but look around. I have friends who are Indians and are doing so well. One is in an Ivy league institution in US, one will be flying off to US, one is pursuing her Law degree here and soon to be leaving for London, and one even studying Biotech in one of the prestiguous colleges in KL. They all are doing great so why the dissatisfaction?

It's just like the saying, No REAL work & effort, No REAL money and success.

Where's the sense of compassion in our Malaysians? Why the heck all this happen only after the 50th Merdeka celebration. I don't see why we need to celebrate Merdeka if even the simplest thing of keeping the country at peace also we cannot do it.

If poverty is the main issue, no particular race is said to be not burdened by this issue. There are poor Chinese, there are poor Malays, even worst, has anybody actually thought of our friends over in Sabah and Sarawak staying in the inlands not having enough food and electricity and education? They are even at a poorer condition if you ask me. I know as I use to have friends who need to travel 2 days back to their home when they were selected for National Service training.

At times, I just feel that, human should not be so smart and so educated because from all this we have thought about greed and our mind are always corrupted with the things we do not have and cannot have and unnecessary wants. Not NEED.

Saying uncivilised people in the ancient days are hooligans? Why not try looking at the videos you can find online and determine, who's the hooligan.

Time after time

tick...tock....tick..tock.....

the sound of my watch ticking in my head. It's 9.26am and I'm in the computer in the university multi-tasking. Hahaha meddling both with blogging and facebook and sleeping (*I can't help it, it;s cozy and I'm deprived of sleep*).

been a real car wreck these past 2 days having only reached home really "early" in the morn. Friends from Hong Kong are here thus was busy taking them around KL to places that not only they haven't been to yet but even myself.

2 nights before we were at RUUMS. OMG, the crowd there, one word -- "LALA-NESS". So many young kids there I tell you. Tops I give some of them was at the age of 17 years. But it was also fun, getting to observe how people behave in clubs. Oh yeah was there with Hong Kong friends because they want to compare how different is it with those in Hong Kong.

Ok. Tired of referring my Hong Kong friends as Hong Kong friends. They are Henry, Mandy & Joey (twins) and Hong.

Henry's a radio therapist, Mandy's a kindy teacher, Joey's into business and hahaha this is the highlight.....Hong's a Hong Kong POLICEMAN! *wah* Lynzie's drooling....(*hunk alert*)

Yes, I'm not afraid to admit, Hong is a hunk. He's only 22 but he's like so tall and built and nice. *Geesh* too bad he ain't Malaysian and I ain't no Hong Kee.

Most of the time we were food hunting and yes I think I put on some pounds.

Henry left on Sunday and Joey and Mandy left yesterday. Wasn't able to really say goodbye to them because I got to be at Sg.Long running publicity and promotion for my YouthMalaysia.com project.

Hong's leaving later though, no matter what I'm going to rush over to see him leave *tear*..(haha..=P)

We went balls whacking as well yesterday, hit em' some few good balls but hahaha Hong was better. Well being a policeman does has his perks eh? OK, some other was there as well....(William, Alan, W.Hong, W.keong).

After today, I'll be busy with YouthMalaysia.com thingy and also job at starbucks.

hrm, my whole entry sounds a bit dillusional eh? hahaha yeah writing this like half awake. Haven't yet go get my caffeine fix.

Bwahaha. As per usual how can a a coffee addict function without HER coffee?

All that's not so well ends well!

hey ho people.......

my quote for today : "All that's not so well, ENDS well~!"

Been a busy week, and yesterday was Leo Club of KL Central's 30th Anniversary celebration and though it was not a huge party and all....I'm glad that everyone was there to support despite the whole riot/rally that was causing massive jam the whole entire day.(which very much did not affect me at all).

The whole program flow was okay...it did not really follow what was supposedly proposed but like i said, things always happen for a reason and most importantly, everyone was having great fun.

Would really like to thank Banana, Wendy, M.Lin, Max, Hou and my brother Nick for being able to make time and help us perform an opening dance which was great enough to get the attention of Ivan Yap and now they're invited to perform in Sg. Wang during world AIDS day!

Also to Mr.Doubtful, Joshua Foong for coming in the last minute. Called him doubtful because he was so worried about the whole riot thing. He performed great and many adored him.

Also to my Lions, Lion Javern & Lion Cassie for coming around the last minute and save our day!

Lion Ben as well, travelled all the way from JB and offered me the emcee job in next year's Leo forum in JB.

*does that mean I gotta still be in the club for the next year?* BUMMER

ok let's forget that part hahaha..but most importantly we made enough money to support our Kepong home project~!

~sigh~ of relief.

I'm going to take a break.....whoops!

oh yeah yst after the event we went to look out point.

*pictures will soon be posted*

Tragedy & Comedy...Literally.

When I thought everything was finally going well with me, I got a kick in the ass and went tumbling down the hill. But I always believe, for everything that happened it is for it's own reason and I come to realize some bad things are just there to make things better.

Well, just to briefly tell you what happen. My Leo Club's 30th Anniversary was suppose to be done in this "RestoBar" called TropiQ in Bangsar. I found the place quite attractive so I've decided to check the place out with everyone from the club. Almost everyone said okay to the venue so we made proper arrangements and even paid the 50% deposit.

But then yesterday, the manager of the venue just gave me brief phone call and said that he would need to cancel off our event (like as if I had a choice) as there's no electricity problem and also short of staff due to Deepavali. I was like.....(stoned for the next 30 seconds).....before I let out a cry that shocked everyone around me.

So we were in crisis, I was so stressed up again and yes I broke down. Luckily friends was there to make everything better. (Cammy, Ed, Alvin, Banana, Felicia, Wendy, Amanda..you guys rock~!) They teman me and search for a new venue.

But before we went scouting, we were waiting for Edmond to finish meeting so, a bunch of us (banana, alvin, wendy, felicia, and I) was sitting down discussing about hrm.....SEX. The conversation started with how pregnant ladies can just "lose" their babies into the toilet bowl while doing their "business" to sex positions and high class pornography. We were laughing so hard at times. Lucky the campus was empty and the foyer was only us and the malay security guard. Felicia who's the oldest in the group was so surprised that we all knew more than her.
(People, we know more, does not mean we did it before...~!!!!)

After that, we went to Uptown where there's this beach-surfing inspired restaurant which is quite nice. The food is fairly good and cheap. But the best is the setting. I love it there but just too bad they couldn't cater to the needs of the event.

When later, WK, Kenn & William joined us, we headed off to BON TON in KL where, we've finally decided to have the dinner there. A use-to-be disco turned into a magnificent classy restaurant providing fusion style cuisine. The setting was great~! I hope things are turning good.

Now while I'm blogging, thinking about it, I don't know why I got so stressed up in the first place when even though with one screwed up matter, so many happy things happened. Hrm....I have to learn to look at the bigger picture.

*Yawns*

Actually there's more to write but it's already 1.40am and I need to start early tomorrow morn so....I'll just stop here for the meantime. I'll upload pics into this entree the next round.

Goodbye October...Hello November!!!

Been 5 days since i last blogged and things been going quite smoothly and happy for the slump but of course at times the occasional bumps on the way.

Last Wednesday, I was informed by YouthMalaysia.com that our team were through to the finals and we're in the top 15. Our idea a.k.a Joel's idea (Boss of YouthMalaysia) are selected and we are set to attempt for the Largest Youth Picture Collage in Malaysia. It is where we go around campuses and as well as public areas with lots of youth (ages 18-25) to take their picture together with a message that they want to say as Malaysian Youths then we would need to garner the sponsorship to our event so that it can be highlighted during the Youth Exhibition next year. So youngsters out there. Come and support us if you can. For more info contact ME.

Hahahah highlight was the week was me winning four movie passes to watch "30 days of night" through Fly FM - It's all about the music!. I was busy sms-ing in in hopes that I can get the passes and YES!!! she succeeds!!!!....Steve called me and I was like....stunned. But hahaha go nuts after that..yay! So who wants to go watch 30 days with me?

Also that finally the club event we got all the sponsors we need. Don't want to elaborate more but am just happy that things are okay finally and at least working before I leave. I don't want to leave bestie, WK alone to fend for the club but, I just got to do what's right for me.

Okay enough of it before I get all emo again. Ha Ha Ha~

Weng called last night just to catch up on Malaysia but then wasn't able to talk too long because it's not cheap calling from UK after all. It's lucky that technology people came up with SKYPE and now we can talk and kepoh for free!

In a blink of an eye, another week has passed and I'm into week 4 of my semester. Starting to feel the pressure.

But anyways, I've been actively involved with the kitchen. Always cooking up some crayzee recipes. Today again I made the caramel pudding and this time I've got plenty. SOOOOO...anyone's who's lucky who drop by my blog and see this entree post a shout out at my kepoh! corner...and you'll get to taste it...=D

oh yeah...let's leave everyone a food for thought, it's a quote i found yesterday:
~Life is pleasant. Death is peaceful. It's the transition that's troublesome~
