Time sure flies when you're not counting and look where we are now. 1st week of feb and 2nd month of the "new" year already. At the same time, Blast Off! Season 3 is seeing it's final week this coming Saturday as the winner will be decided in the next round. It's been sometime since I blogged, and here's just some updates on the competition for your viewing.
Alrite, for the pass three weeks, all the vocal groups and bands blew the roof off RUUMS with all of their performance. During this period of time, we saw two very musically harmonized groups being eliminated, MUZIECLE (vocal groups) & Hinava (bands), but still they were really great and hope to see more of em' in the future.
Okay lar, actually I want to update on Mable's.....here we go.
during stage 3, we saw Mable's performing a medley of :
- Another One Bites The Dust - Queen
- We Will Rock You - Queen
- I Want To Break Free - Queen

I would say that week, Mable's practically blew everyone away with their performance. I really enjoyed that week's performance plus i got a really good view from the top. Damn i was so excited i think i almost fall off the place. Hahaha and the crowd went wild when Keith came out with a leather jacket and later on buka all the buttons on it.
At the end of the 3rd stage, everyone got a surprised as those who were able to make it to the next round have to perform a piece selected by the judges themselves. Mable's got Fall Out Boy's - Sugar, We're Going Down. I went crazee when i heard that. Mable's doing a rendition of my fave band and my fave song? that's super! but later in the week when i heard on the radio only then i found out that Mable's not quite sure who FOB were and how does sugar we're going down sounds like.............but.....
MIRACLE happened in stage 4...................
We saw Mable rocking out to FOB's Sugar We're Going Down and they add more rock to it and the arrangement was SUPERB. I as a big (i'm talking real big) fan of FOB would say that they did Pete and the boys proud back at Illinois.

And this past week, this past week, *phew* it was one heck of a show as well, Keith jumped off the stage and did the whole crowd carrying him thing! hahaha good one there. Actually when he did that, i was in a kinda blur sitch, i thought like" why suddenly this fella jumping off the stage and hug kenneth lar?" hehehe den oni i realise kenn and his friend was trying to get him up so that others cn carry him. hahahahaha (*a moment of blurness*) and yeao they did a double dose of Offspring this week, good ol' Offspring, if i'm not wrong the last news i heard about them was they being disbanded, there you go another great band going off to their own separate ways. Anyways for stage 5, there are no pics uploaded on the Blast Off! official website yet so i guess you guys just gotta wait till my next blog entry.
Next week is the finals and i hope you guys can find the time and head on down to RUUMS to watch the event live and come support Mable's as well. WE NEED YOU!
